fter 15 grueling rounds, Kevin McCarthy was elected speaker of the House.  The win comes as twenty House members pushed for changes in the House rules to return power to the people.  Despite intense pressure, these patriots stood strong, and the House is better for it.

The media and many Republicans such as Dan Crenshaw pressured the twenty holdouts relentlessly, but in the end, major concessions were delivered that make the U.S. House operate better.

Joe Biden has a new plan for border security.  Not really.  Biden is doing nothing to make the border more secure or address the border surge at America's southern border.  But... Biden did tell illegal border crossers to not walk across the border but use a smartphone app instead.

Biden's new plan allows for an expanded "border parole" program and addressing asylum seekers through the use of an app.  Drugs, gangs, and human trafficking will continue, but "open borders" Biden says "get the app."

After six rounds of voting on Tuesday and Wednesday, Kevin McCarthy has still not been able to prevail in the race for speaker of the House.  McCarthy's vote total has gone from 203 to 202 to 201 with 218 needed for victory.  Is McCarthy done?

Rep. Byron Donalds was nominated on Wednesday as an alternative to McCarthy, and he garnered twenty votes in rounds four, five, and six.  With pressure mounting on House Republicans, who will emerge as speaker?  McCarthy?  Byron Donalds?  Someone else?

With Title 42 set to expire, the border surge will only get worse.  Some states are fighting back and trying to build their own border walls, but Biden is fighting them.  It's clear that Biden's idea of immigration reform is a completely open border.

Republican Senators Endorse Wasteful Spending, Woke Programs in Omnibus Bill | Bobby Eberle Ep. 501

Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, John Cornyn, and fifteen other Senate Republicans joined the Democrats in passing the omnibus spending bill that is loaded with earmarks and woke spending.  The bill even includes funding for border security... just not in America.

Senate Republicans could have rallied around an option to fund the government until control of the House goes to the Republicans in just a few weeks.  Instead, they voted to hurt the U.S. economy, increase inflation, and add to the federal debt.  Way to go!

Are you sick of all the wokeness yet? After eighteen months of research, Stanford University has compiled a "harmful language" list that includes the word "American."  That's right... it's not harmful and offensive to say American.

Also, included among prohibited words and phrases is "immigrant," "stupid," and "beat a dead horse." This is getting ridiculous, but it's just another example of the state of America's colleges and universities.
