Despite efforts from the left to support diversity hire Claudine Gay, the embattled president of Harvard University finally resigned.  Gay's testimony before Congress as well as the student protests on campus have drawn renewed attention to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs which are not inclusive and simply promote the left's brand of racism.

DEI programs have been banned at public universities in many states.  Some companies are backtracking on their DEI support.  Are we seeing the beginning of the end of DEI?

Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy Bails Out From Congress | Bobby Eberle Ep. 590

Ousted former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced that he will not seek reelection in 2024, and will, in fact, leave Congress at the end of this year.  Despite reported efforts to regain power, McCarthy's departure will mean that the House's GOP majority will be even smaller.

Kevin McCarthy needed fifteen votes to become speaker of the House, but only one vote to be removed.  Following this removal, McCarthy critics speculated that he would leave early, which makes new House Speaker Mike Johnson's job even harder.

Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel is taking heat from Newsmax and grassroots conservatives for reaching out to leftwing networks to host the GOP presidential debates.  Rather than negotiating with Newsmax, McDaniel will go with far left News Nation for the fourth debate.

The third GOP presidential debate was hosted by NBC News and drew poor reviews on the questions being asked of the candidates.  Rather than turn to a conservative outlet for the fourth debate, McDaniel has doubled down and will continue the leftwing trend.

From Joe Biden's poor polling numbers to the economy to foreign policy, the White House press secretary seemed clueless on the reality of American feelings toward Biden.  Jean-Pierre also said Biden's stamina can match anybody out there.

Trump Receives Major Endorsement as Border Crisis Rages | Bobby Eberle Ep. 587

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott endorsed former President Trump for the 2024 GOP presidential primary.  Trump is currently polling far ahead of rivals Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis, but the endorsement certainly reminds voters of the crisis at America's southern border.

More then ten million illegal aliens have crossed the border since Biden became president.  Biden's team refuses to stop the flood of migrants that is leading to increased gang violence, drugs, and human trafficking.  Trump has pledged to actually do something about it.

Hillary Clinton is at it again.  In recent comments on The View, Clinton compared former President Donald Trump to Hitler.  As Clinton named examples of what she claims Trump will do, she actually revealed that the Democrats have been employing Hitler-like tactics.

Clinton stated that Trump supporters should be sent to a deprogramming camp.  Hillary also said that Democrats need to get the "right people" into the Republican Party.  Does that sound suspicious to you?

Louisiana Rep. Mike Johnson was elected to become speaker of the House in a vote that was three weeks in the making following the ouster of former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.  After failed nominations of Steve Scalise, Jim Jordan, and Tom Emmer, Johnson emerged as a consensus choice.

The motion to vacate, initiated by Rep. Matt Gaetz, left a vacuum in the speakership, but what emerged is hopefully a conservative who can unite the GOP House conference.

Cheney offered her opinions on a wide range of issues, saying the next speaker of the House should definitely support funding for Ukraine.  Cheney also said that Trump would "unravel the institutions of our democracy."
